When you search for Conor Heafey’s page on Facebook, it pops up with “Rainy-day easy listening songs”, which I think describes his music PERFECTLY.

The Game is the title track from his recently released E.P and I’ll start off by saying that I think it’s Fabulous! (So fabulous, it needed a capital F!).

I think what I like most about the track that it’s so simple, Now, please don’t think that I mean it’s boring, far from it! What I mean is that there’s no over-driven guitars, no erratic solos, no trying to decipher what is being sung. However, it is INCREDIBLY catchy and his voice has a sort of gruffness to it, which sounds rather lovely. That mixed, with a great bassline and guitar, that slowly fade away as the track ends, makes a wonderful song.
