Howdy! We’re back again, this time with a song that will 100% blow away those Monday blues.
If you’ve been following us for a while, you may remember the wonderful people from Cornfield Chase from Part 4 of our 2017 mini live stream series The Captain’s Log.
With an ethereal-esque intro, elements of which resonate throughout the rest of the track, Rise Again is absolutely FANTASTIC. So much so, I’ve had it on repeat all day and I’m sure my neighbour now knows the words. The mix of the aforementioned ethereal-esqueness (Grammarly is telling me that’s not a word, well it is now), combined with the guitar-driven music, strong bass and drums, makes this a really strong track. This one will really make you want to bop along to the beat and tap your feet. Sandy has an amazing vocal range (is a great guitarist), and the rest of the band are very accomplished musicians too, which really shines through in this track. Rise Again was recorded at EFR Studios in Kirkcaldy, and is their first single since their debut EP ‘Vitality’ from November 2019.
